O wind undefiled, embrace those who would be our enemies and purify all . . .        HYMNARIA

Cameos

Besides for Tales of the Abyss, Tear makes an appearance in a few other games. If you are interested in looking into other things that she is included in, browse through the following selections.

NAME: Tales of Fandom Volume 2
SYSTEM: Playstation 2
COUNTRY: Japan only
Tales of Fandom Volume 2 includes various characters from the casts of Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Symphonia, and of course Tales of the Abyss. The game is more interactive than RPG styled. There are numerous voiced skits of different character stories and over ten different mini games such as cards and casino type things. The characters that are included can have titles, which will change their costume. Tear has a back-story that goes into her childhood, and therefore gives more information than Tales of the Abyss did. I personally have not been able to play this game, but it does seem pretty interesting. I am not a huge fan of the art style that was used for this game, however, so that would be my only negative rating of the game that I can make at this point. If I am able to play the game some time, more personalized information will be added here. There are plenty of videos to watch on Youtube if you are interested in more than I can provide, or you could view the official site.

NAME: Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology
SYSTEM: Playstation Portable (PSP)
COUNTRY: Japan, North America, Europe
Radiant Mythology is the newest of the Tales of the World series. In this game, you are able to create your own main character from a variety of different hair, skin and other choices. Like previous games such as Narikiri Dungeon 3, your character explores various areas with different objectives. Depending on what you are doing, different characters from almost all of the Tales of series games will join you for a certain amount of time. Tear is one of these characters, once again supporting the rest of your party with offensive and healing artes. There are also voiced skits with decent ingame graphics. Unfortunately, I still have not been able to get my hands on this game yet (I need money for a PSP), and therefore cannot contribute too much more of an opinion. I plan on getting the game at some point in time since there has been an American release, so I will add more then. You may view either the official Japanese or American websites if you choose to do so.
