Tachiki Fumihiko has a very deep voice take on Kratos' character. I do not believe I have heard a deeper voice from any other role I've come across. He gives Kratos a very serious and stern aura, and does a wonderful job with it, even though I think it is a bit too deep. I have not heard a ton of his voice acting other than in battle though, so I guess I cannot say much about it otherwise. He has played other roles such as:

I was not extremely fond of the voice acting in Tales of Symphonia, and Kratos' voice was not an exception. Granted, Cam Clarke's take on Kratos' voice did not drive me up a wall, but I thought they could have gotten something better...with more enthusiasm to the part. I did still think the voice fit him pretty well, especially when he made comments like "humph" and "aren't we clever" and such in battle. I just had a hard time liking the voice during emotional parts like the Flanoir scene. He has played other roles such as:

• Liquid Snake from Metal Gear Solid
• Shoutarou Kaneda from Akira
• Simba from Kingdom Hearts II
• Will Raynard from Tales of Legendia
