Appearances
Kratos makes an appearance in a few other games other than Tales of Symphonia. Cannot get enough Kratos? Or maybe you are just curious as to what other games he can be found in. Either way, you will want to try the following games:
TALES OF THE WORLD: NARIKIRI DUNGEON 3
As most of the Tales of Symphonia cast is featured in Narikiri Dungeon 3, Kratos is a playable character in the game. He is a later character, and you are not able to obtain him until mission twelve.
In my opinion Kratos is yet again, a very valuable character to have in one of your teams. I usually play with him as the team leader and have another sword person (in my case, Judas) as well as a healer (once again in my case, Mint). He is not a very difficult character to master, and is perhaps easier to use than in Tales of Symphonia. He still has a healthy variety of physical and magical attacks as always, and has the same advantages, disadvantages and strategies as he does in Tales of Symphonia as well. Kratos will once again prove to be a powerful asset to one of your teams if you choose to use him.
TALES OF THE WORLD: RADIANT MYTHOLOGY
Radiant Mythology is the newest addition to the Tales of the World series, and it is for the PSP. I have not played the game myself, and therefore cannot provide any personal information relating to the game. I cannot really offer much information in general other than Kratos is once again an obtainable and playable character. If you'd like to find more information, feel free to view the official Japanese site. You can also watch the opening to the game here on Youtube.
Radiant Mythology is available both in Japan and America for the PSP. Again, I have not had a chance to try it since I do not yet own a PSP, but I am almost positive it is a great game for those who also enjoyed Narikiri Dungeon 3 and the other Tales of series games. As soon as I get a chance to play the game I will add some more personal information here.
TALES OF FANDOM VOLUME 2
Tales of Fandom Volume 2 is the most recent fandom game added to the Tales of series for the Playstation 2. The game has the casts from Tales of Phantasia, Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia. Therefore, Kratos makes yet another appearance in a different Tales of game. I have not been able to play this game either, so I cannot add much personal imput. The game itself looks fun, but I must say that I am not a huge fan of the art. Either way, Kratos' back story appears to be gone into as Yuan, Mithos and Martel make appearances as well.
Tales of Fandom Volume 2 is only out for the Playstation 2 in Japan, and therefore you will not be able to play it unless you can play region two games on your own system. For more information and images, feel free to visit the official Japanese website.
